Set up with the traveling family in mind our new pad is rich in comfort and style; a place to inspire and restore. The perfect base while exploring the East Coast of Tasmania, nestled between The Bay of Fires and Freycinet not to mention stunning Beaumaris surf beach on your door step.
You will have access to all the amenities of our beautiful beach pad; new kitchen, coffee machine, toasted sandwich maker and microwave, dishwasher, TV, and DVD's and stereo.

Featuring two bedrooms with queen beds and an extra single bed in the second bedroom to enable accommodation for up to 5 people.

Visit the magnificent Bay of Fires with its large array of orange lichen coloured rock, white sand beaches and crystal clear water, all within 30 minutes drive of the pad.
If you love surfing, fishing or just beach combing, the north east coast has an amazing array of beaches that offer reward for those seeking uncrowded waves in crystal clear turquoise ocean.
St Columba Falls is a stunning bush walk through a ferny glade and beautiful bush to the cascading falls. A 20 - 30 minute return hike (600m one way) aprox 40 minute drive from the Pad. It is located in Pyengana so a coffee and lunch at the Holy Cow Cafe; Pyengana Cheese Factory is a must; or perhaps a relaxing drink at the historic Pub in the Paddock.
Visit Eureka Berry Farm for award winning fruit rich ice cream, jams and delicious in season berries and fruit; they also make a great coffee. Located 5 minutes south of the Pad in Scamander, in a beautiful bush setting.
Taste locally brewed beer 10 minutes down the road from the Pad at the Iron House Brewery.
Have a beer or a local Tasmanian wine at the Beaumaris Surfside Inn, a short stroll from the pad. On a Sunday arvo, you might just stumble on the friendly locals staging an open mic in the front bar.
Beaumaris and some of the many surrounding beaches offer an amazing diversity of experiences. The kids will love granite boulder jumping or simply collecting shells at Shelly Point a short stroll south along Beaumaris Beach.
Simply get out and walk the stretch of quiet beach in front of the Pad – an amazing tonic for the soul and perfect way to relax and unwind. Walk to the north and you will discover Dark Hollow surf break with a view out to Paddys Island. Walk to the south and you will delight in the shells at Shelly Point and further down you can walk to Scamander.

We love the simplicity and natural beauty of Beaumaris taking long beach walks, observing local bird and wild life, fishing and surfing uncrowded waves.
Crystal clear water and many a day with the sun shining! They don't call it the sunny east coast for nothing!!
The best way to get to and around Beaumaris and the North East Coast of Tasmania is by car.
Of course once you are here by foot is the best way to the beach across the road.
There is a bus which takes you to Launceston airport; leaving from Scamander, 5 minutes by car south down the Tasman Hwy.
